Well you knew it had to happen sooner or later — a woman known for selling sex for money has just sued a man known for selling women’s sex for money. Yes, it’s the trial of the century, the one we’ve all been waiting for — hooker versus pimp. WHO YA GOT??? At stake is a $10 million dollar lawsuit filed by Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the Eliot Spitzer call girl who took down a governor, and now she’s trying to take down Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis, who quickly released a special DVD featuring Dupre when he found out that she had been in his video archive all this
On a spring break vacation at the time, Dupre was also drunk when told to sign a video “release” form, according to the complaint, which seeks damages in excess of $10 million from Francis and his co-defendants.
“At the time of these events, plaintiff did not understand the magnitude of her actions nor that her image and likeness would be displayed in videos and DVDs produced and distributed by defendants,” the lawsuit says.
“The defendants have profited from the filming, production and distribution and sale of the videos and DVDs,” it added.
“Defendants created the false impression that plaintiff has endorsed and/or approves of the graphic sexual content, including lesbian acts, contained in the video, which in reality she does not.”
You know what? I’ve seen some of those video footage of Dupre aka Kristen in the Girls Gone Wild video, and she sure looks like she “endorsed” and “approved” of it. Then again, maybe I’m just reading the barely-dressed grinding she did throughout the video wrong.
Okay, well, I guess I don’t know how much more “exposed” you could get when everybody already knows you blew (and did other things to) former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer for a couple grand a night, but leave it to Joe Francis at Girls Gone Wild to do it anyway. While trying to get Dupre to show up in one of his scantily clad videos, Francis and crew realized that they already had Dupre in their videos. In fact, a few years before she was exposed to the world as an expensive hooker with a false sense of musical talent, Ashley Dupre was an 18-year old “college student” in one of the Girls Gone Wild videos called “Spring Break 2005: Anything Goes.” In the video, Dupre gyrated her way through a throng of men.
